Installation Type: Duplex Muffler
Duplex silencer, vertical installation of anti-spray and resistance duplex silencer, silencer bracket is anchored to the furnace roof, the weight of the silencer is supported by the bracket, the exhaust pipe is welded to the adapter. As the silencer and adapter are柔性 connected, a thermal expansion absorption device is set up in the silencer to absorb both vertical and horizontal thermal displacements of the exhaust pipe.
Features: The duplex silencer achieves superior noise reduction through frequency shifting via small holes, volume expansion and pressure reduction, and sound absorption. It is generally used in places with special noise reduction requirements.
Biflow muffler applications and product features:
High-efficiency double-stage silencers, anti-spray and resistance double-stage silencer equipment, widely used in power generation, chemical, metallurgical, textile and other industrial plants, for noise reduction of various types of boilers, steam turbines, fans; safety valves, and other equipment.
A duplex muffler is a device that blocks sound transmission while allowing air flow, serving as an important measure for eliminating dynamic noise from steam exhaust. To assess the quality of a steam exhaust muffler, consider the following three aspects:
1. The noise reduction capacity of the dual silencer meets the requirements of the "Noise Hygiene Standards for Industrial Enterprises."
2. The adaptability of the duplex muffler (i.e., its capability to accommodate a broad bandwidth of low to medium frequencies and high temperature/pressure conditions).
3. The structural performance of the double muffler (Reasonable dimensions, low cost, long lifespan, etc.)
The boiler steam in the power generation department is not only high temperature and high pressure but also has a wide emission frequency range. Simply relying on small hole noise reduction is insufficient. Our factory's boiler dual-stage silencer is developed based on the composite noise reduction principle of resistance, injection, and damping. It features large noise reduction capacity, a wide frequency range, and targeted design (for various boiler and pressure vessel pipeline exhaust parameters such as low pressure, medium pressure, sub-high pressure, high pressure, ultra-high pressure, subcritical, and supercritical). The silencer tube is made of stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti, 12Cr1MoV) and is easy to manufacture and install.
Duplex muffler principle:
The boiler exhaust double-chambered silencer is manufactured based on the micro-perforated plate noise reduction principle. Since the steam emission velocity from power plant boilers is generally high, and high velocity greatly affects the noise reduction of small holes, we first control the flow. After the steam passes through the initial flow control, it enters the expansion chamber for further pressure reduction and noise reduction. After the steam is depressurized in a large volume, it forms low-pressure steam that is ejected. During this process, the gas flows out through small diameter holes, and the sound power of its various frequency bands is reduced. The sound pressure level frequency is then pushed up to above 20,000Hz, significantly reducing the noise. However, secondary noise at certain frequencies still requires further noise reduction. We add a resistive absorbent cotton structure outside the expansion chamber, which is designed according to the spectrum characteristics of the residual noise emitted by the depressurizing body, to effectively absorb the remaining noise. After the user installs it according to specifications, the total noise reduction should reach 30-45 decibels, meeting the requirements of the <<Industrial Enterprise Noise Standard>>.
Common types of compound silencers:
Steam dual silencer
This type of duplex silencer is designed by integrating reasonable noise reduction principles. After high-pressure steam undergoes a single flow control within the silencer, it enters the pressure-reducing chamber, where it is expanded through a large volume, forming low-pressure steam that is then ejected. During this process, a portion of the steam's internal energy is converted into sound energy of a certain frequency. Although the noise power is significantly reduced, it often remains above the standard value due to reasons such as exhaust steam deviating from the design specifications. To address this, a double-layered noise-reducing enclosure is designed around the pressure-reducing chamber, tailored to the spectral characteristics of the residual noise emitted by the chamber, to effectively absorb the remaining noise. After installation according to specifications, the total noise reduction can reach 36 to 45 decibels.
Composite silencer, suitable for temperatures up to 450 degrees, pressure up to 6.4 Mpa
TB Type Steam Exhaust Muffler, TB indicating Muffler with Soundproofing Enclosure (Composite). It is based on the small hole design with an added soundproofing enclosure, filled with sound-absorbing cotton. Gases enter from the bottom inlet and exit from the top. Due to the sound-absorbing cotton filling, it is suitable for pressures up to 6.4 Mpa; otherwise, the filling may be blown out. The shell is made of carbon steel, suitable for temperatures up to 450 degrees.
TA-3.82-10/57 Model Meaning: TA signifies a Composite Exhaust Muffler, 57 indicates the outer diameter of the interface is 57mm, and 10 represents the exhaust volume.
