Fans are a type of general machinery and equipment with a wide range of applications, essential in industries such as electricity, mining, machinery, metallurgy, and chemicals. The noise produced during their operation often becomes a source of harm to workers' health and environmental disruption. Particularly, fans located near residential areas, with their intake and exhaust air flow noise, are a major factor in environmental pollution, causing public nuisances. They have been one of the primary targets for noise pollution control efforts by China's industrial sector in recent years.

Industrial fans are continuous operating equipment. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) specifies noise standards for such equipment at ≤90 decibels. Our new standards are identical to this, which serves as the basis for noise compliance in industrial enterprises. However, without noise reduction measures, the noise emitted from the inlet and outlet of the fan can reach 110 to 120 decibels, significantly exceeding the compliance requirements.

The boiler fan muffler series is of impedance type. Our factory determines the required noise reduction amount for design purposes based on actual test data of noise sources from various fans in power plants, specifically identifying the frequency ranges that necessitate such reduction. The boiler fan muffler employs a narrow rectangular channel with a large absorbent material surface to enhance absorption. We understand that the noise sources of fans often have multiple frequency values at the highest noise level, and the noise reduction requirements vary for different frequency bands. Therefore, this product utilizes a resistive structure for high and medium-frequency noise reduction and a reactive structure for medium and low-frequency noise reduction. Additionally, it incorporates both high-frequency and low-frequency noise reduction zones within the resistive channel to greatly broaden the noise reduction frequency range, achieving excellent muffling performance.

After the user installs the boiler fan muffler as required, the maximum noise level will not exceed 85-90 decibels.
