Duct silencers, exhaust pipe silencers, and blower silencers are all designed using noise reduction principles that are effective for mid-to-high frequency broadband characteristics, such as resistive sound absorption, and for low and mid-frequency pulsating characteristics, such as resistive noise reduction. Additionally, micro-perforated silencers and impedance composite silencers are utilized.
A resistive silencer is an absorbing type of silencer, which is generally categorized into straight-tube, plate, pleated, honeycomb, acoustic flow, labyrinth, and elbow designs based on the structure of the airflow channel. It operates by converting sound energy into heat energy and dissipating it through friction and viscosity resistance as sound waves propagate through porous absorbent materials, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction. It is the most widely used type of silencer among all.
The resistance muffler operates on a different principle than the resistive muffler for noise reduction. It does not directly absorb sound energy but rather utilizes abrupt interfaces or auxiliary resonance chambers on the pipeline to cause certain frequency sound waves propagating along the pipeline to reflect and interfere at the interface, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction. It is divided into expansion chamber mufflers and resonance mufflers.
In practical noise control engineering, noise is often宽带, so it is common to combine resistive sound absorption and resistive sound attenuation structures to control intense宽带 noise. The FG series ventilation, exhaust pipe, and fan muffler structural principle:
Based on the frequency spectrum data obtained from actual testing of noise sources at industrial fan operation sites, the required noise reduction levels for designing acoustic absorbers and fluid flow channels are determined. Additionally, narrow rectangular channels with large acoustic material finishes are employed to enhance absorption effectiveness. Furthermore, when the noise level of the fan is very high, the frequency spectrum values may not be limited to one, and the noise reduction requirements for different frequency bands vary accordingly.
The FG series ventilation管道dampers and exhaust fan silencers are of impedance-type acoustic flow design. They incorporate resistive structures that absorb and reduce high and mid-frequency noise, as well as resistive structures that dampen and reduce mid and low-frequency noise. Additionally, the resistive channels feature both high and low-frequency absorption and damping zones to significantly broaden the sound damping frequency range, achieving excellent noise reduction performance.
The FG series exhaust mufflers for ventilation ducts and blowers are suitable for all types of centrifugal, axial, Roots blowers, and air compressors.
FG Fan Silencer Application and Product Features:
Fans are a general type of mechanical equipment with a wide range of applications, indispensable in industries such as electricity, mining, machinery, metallurgy, and chemical engineering. The noise generated during the operation of fans often becomes a source of harm to workers' health and environmental interference. Particularly, fans located near residential areas, with their intake and exhaust air intakes emitting aerodynamic noise, are major contributors to environmental pollution, causing public hazards. They have become one of the main targets for noise pollution control in China's industrial sector in recent years.
Industrial fans are continuous operating equipment. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) specifies noise standards for such equipment at ≤90 decibels. Our country's new standard is identical, serving as the basis for continuous noise compliance in industrial enterprises. However, without adopting noise reduction measures, the noise emitted from the fan's intake and exhaust outlets into the environment can reach 110 to 120 decibels, far exceeding the compliance requirements.
The series of silencers is of impedance type. Based on the actual test data of noise sources from various fans in power plants, our factory determines the required amount of sound absorption in specific frequency ranges for the design of the acoustic panel structure and fluid channels. A narrow rectangular channel with a large acoustic material surface is also used to enhance absorption. We know that the noise sources of fans often have multiple frequency values at the maximum noise level, and the requirements for sound absorption vary for different frequency bands. Therefore, this product utilizes a resistive structure for high and medium-frequency noise absorption and an antiresonant structure for medium and low-frequency noise absorption. Additionally, two types of sound absorption zones, one for high frequencies and another for low frequencies, are employed in the resistive channels to greatly broaden the sound absorption frequency range, achieving excellent noise reduction performance.
Once installed according to specifications, this product's maximum noise level will not exceed 85-90 decibels.
This description introduces silencers suitable for all types of centrifugal and axial flow fans. In addition, our factory also designs and sells silencers for various applications, including gas turbines, Roots blowers, air compressors, and diesel engine exhausts. Welcome to inquire and purchase.
