Iron and manganese filter

Product Features:
The Iron and Manganese Filter is primarily used to remove iron and manganese substances from the system, purifying water quality; it can also be used for water de-coloring and de-odorization.
Application Scope:
Used for food, beverage, papermaking, brewing industries, iron removal from water exceeding the standard, groundwater, well water for drinking purposes, geothermal projects, and pool water recycling needs.
Product Features:
1. A unique multi-chamber structure that allows for online backwashing (filtering, draining, and backwashing all occur simultaneously).
2. Energy-saving: Direct water supply to the pipeline network without the need for a secondary water supply system; features self-cleaning function, eliminating the need for an additional backwash pump.
3. Water-saving: This equipment utilizes a "Plum Blossom spray distributor" to shorten the distance between the filter layer and the spray pipe, significantly reducing the water used for backwashing.
Technical Specifications:

Operating Parameters:
① Operation Method: Pressure-Assisted
② Operation Mode: Water flow from top to bottom, in series (high iron and manganese content) or in parallel.
③ Filtration Rate: 6-10 m/h (for iron removal), 5-8 m/h (for manganese removal)
④ Operating Cycle: Depends on the quality of the original water, not less than 8 hours.
⑤ Detergent Method: Water washing, or combined with air-water backwashing.
⑥ Money Laundering Prevention Time: 10-15 mins
Wastewater Treatment Efficiency: 1-3%
⑧ Laundering Intensity: 15-20 L/s•m².
Working Principle:
The iron and manganese filter consists of an aeration unit and a manganese sand filter tank; it oxidizes the low-valent iron and manganese ions in the water into high-valent iron and manganese ions using oxidation methods, and then removes them through adsorption and filtration to reduce the iron and manganese content in the water.
Process Flow:
Aeration → Contact Oxidation → Adsorption Filtration → Backwashing
