Sump Type Screen Cleaning Machine, also known as Drum Type Grid Cleaning Machine, Fine Grid Filter, or Spiral Grid Cleaning Machine. It is a unit that integrates fine grid cleaning machine, grid residue spiral lifter, and grid residue spiral press. It can be directly installed in channels or containers and is suitable for urban sewage, industrial wastewater, and domestic wastewater treatment projects.
Operating Principle:
The rotating cleaning screen drum performs a circular motion in water at a 35° angle with a speed of 5 to 8 r/min. One-third of the drum is submerged in water. Wastewater and floating debris enter the drum from the bottom, with floating materials adhering to the inner wall of the drum and being removed from the water. As the drum rotates to the upper position, impurities fall into the waste conveying system due to gravity, and are transported and pressed to the discharge outlet. The filtered wastewater flows out through the gaps in the drum.

Standard grating systems typically require a spiral conveyor (pressing machine), whereas drum grating machines integrate cleaning, pressing, and conveying, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing management costs.

The fixed components of the drum are all cut using water jetting, ensuring no deformation during the cutting process and precise cuts. After assembly, the entire drum is machined on a lathe to guarantee concentricity, reliable operation, and extended service life. The rotational power for both the conveying and pressing units is supplied by a single reducer, offering a compact structure and reduced energy consumption. The spiral blades are made from 6mm stainless steel 304, with the pitch gradually decreasing from bottom to top, enhancing the pressing capacity.
Control System:
The control system is optional for the user or self-provided, and can be operational by simply connecting to the power line on-site.
The on-site electrical control box features local start/stop control buttons, equipped with start/stop buttons for the equipment. All signal lights are energy-saving models. The electrical control box is fitted with a remote control interface. This control box is made of stainless steel with outdoor rainproof design.
