Requirements for the mesh plate step grate machine, our company's GF model mesh plate grate cleaner meets the requirements in the tender documents for its structural form and main technical parameters. This equipment has been selected for use at the Shandong Changyi Sewage Treatment Plant and the Wunan Sewage Treatment Plant in Changzhou, and its sales network has spread across various regions, with a high market share.

Structure and Performance:
The ladder grate screen effectively removes floating debris and fibrous matter, operates without blocking, and ensures clean removal of sludge. It is mainly composed of key components such as the driving unit, frame, drive sprockets, traction chains, screen plates, and electrical control cabinet. During operation, the screen plate is driven by the two side traction chains, lifting the entire channel's width of dirt from bottom to top. Upon reaching the top, the turning function of the sprockets automatically completes the waste discharge process.
The plate-type step grate cleaner boasts reliable cleaning performance, featuring a robust self-cleaning capability in its structural design, with no debris entanglement or jamming issues. Additionally, there is no accumulation of dirt at the bottom of the grate, eliminating dead corners. The plate-type step grate cleaner is designed to meet the requirements for continuous 24-hour operation.

(1) Drive Unit
The drive unit of the ladder grating machine is located at the top of the frame. Besides the transmission unit, the rest is manufactured from stainless steel. The drive unit features an axis-mounted reducer, and a spiral adjustment device is set on both sides of the frame for adjusting the tension of the transmission chain.
The drive motor is suitable for a power supply of 380V/3-phase/50Hz, with a protection rating of IP55 and an insulation grade of F. The rated power of the motor is 10% higher than the actual power consumption. It features an overload protection device.
The design of the drive shaft features sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand loads subjected to both bending and torque simultaneously.
(2) Rack
The entire grille assembly is directly mounted onto the channel. Solid particles in the water are captured by the filter belt connected in series with the grill panels, and then discharged after being delivered to a higher position at the rear of the cleaning machine's drive unit. Additionally, a rotating brush further cleans the grill panels.
The frame of the grid-style ladder grille cleaner is a rigid integral structure, made by welding stainless steel plates and sections into one. The frame of the cleaner after welding is rigid and possesses sufficient strength and rigidity, not experiencing distortion or deformation under specified water level differences. The frame is made entirely of stainless steel, with cross supports set at a certain distance on both sides, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
The welded grid machine frame forms a rigid unit with sufficient strength and rigidity, exhibiting no distortion or deformation under a 1.0-meter water level difference. There is a gap between the frame sides and the grid well, which is sealed off by rubber plates on the frame sides to prevent floating debris from passing through. Installation brackets are set on both sides of the frame, and they are fixed to the foundation platform using expansion bolts.

The drive chain used for transmission is made of stainless steel, featuring sufficient cross-sectional dimensions. The breaking strength of the drive chain is not less than 5 times the large traction force. The drive chain wheels and guide devices (not chain wheels), are respectively placed on the upper and lower sides of the machine frame. The underwater guide device has a reliable structure to prevent the entanglement of debris such as grid waste. The guide device is a non-chain wheel mechanism.
(4) Screen Plate
The mesh plate is made of stainless steel, featuring a regular arrangement of small holes. The mesh surface is designed for water passage and has the function of retaining debris, while the step surface can intercept larger pieces of dirt.
The stepped mesh belt filter surface features ample water passage to ensure that the water flow area and volume meet design requirements, with the flow rate of wastewater through the grating less than 1 m/s.
(5) Cleaning Brush
The cleaning brush is positioned at the starting point of the mesh plate's return path, powered by a separate减速电机. While the filter mesh moves, it assists in unloading and cleaning the outer surface of the mesh plate. The bristles of the cleaning brush are made of nylon material.
(6) Rinse Unit
The plate-type step grate machine is equipped with a hole plate flushing device to ensure that the return hole plates do not adhere to dirt after unloading, thereby completely eliminating blockage of the mesh holes.
