ZS SeriesCandle-shaped diatomite filterIn a sealed container, multiple porous filter cores are combined, with filter cloth (or other filtering medium) wrapped around them. During filtration, a pump sends the slurry into the filter. The liquid phase of the slurry passes through the filtering medium and converges at the center of the porous filter cores, exiting through the clear liquid outlet. Before a filter cake forms, the discharged "clear liquid" returns to the raw slurry inlet for recirculation through the filter. This continues until a filter cake forms (meeting the filtration requirements), at which point a signal stops the recirculation. The clear liquid then passes through a three-way valve to the next process for normal filtration use.
After a normal filtration period, when the filter cake layer on the porous wick reaches a certain thickness, a signal is provided to control the feed (stop), then drain the residual liquid from the filter, and after draining, provide a signal to control the reverse blowing port (compressed air, nitrogen, or saturated steam) for reverse blowing to dislodge the filter cake. After a period of reverse blowing, stop the reverse blowing and provide a signal to open the filter's slag outlet for slag removal. After slag removal is complete, close the slag outlet and return to the initial state before filtration, preparing for the next round of filtration.
Candle-shaped Diatomaceous Earth FilterProduct Features:
For liquid clarification, you can directly add agents such as diatomite, activated carbon, etc. to the slurry, which will increase the filtration rate and make the filtrate clearer. The precision range is selectable from 1μm to 300μm.
Fully enclosed operation, suitable for filtering general materials as well as flammable, explosive, toxic, or highly toxic hazardous products, and for filtering fresh and delicious food, biological products, and pharmaceuticals where no contamination is permitted.
During the filtration process, if the bottom residue slurry cannot be returned to the slurry tank, it can be pumped out and returned to the top center of the filter cover, where it is evenly sprayed onto the filter tubes through nozzles. The remaining liquid is then filtered out by introducing compressed air into the machine.
■ Due to the uniform filter cake layer formed during the regeneration process, it is convenient to wash the filter cake by introducing cleaning liquid inside the machine. If washing the filter cake by top spray, it can significantly save cleaning liquid.
To achieve a dried filter cake, after filtration or washing the filter cake, introduce ambient air, hot air, or steam into the machine to pass through the cake layer. Continue this process until the filter cake reaches the desired dryness. Then, depressurize the machine and backflush the cake to discharge it from the bottom.
