PP Spray Tower Instruction Manual
1. PP Spray Tower Composition, Characteristics, and Application Scope
PP spray towers consist of the shell, circulating water tank, inlet section, spray section, packing section, demisting section, outlet cone cap, and inspection holes. Made of PP material, they offer UV resistance and aging resistance. For the treatment of inorganic waste gas, the liquid absorption and neutralization method is commonly used. This process and product feature simple structure, low energy consumption, high purification efficiency, and wide application range. The packing uses high-efficiency, low-resistance Raschig rings, Pall rings, etc., and the spray section is assembled with sufficient atomizing nozzles. The nozzles are designed for easy disassembly, facilitating cleaning of scale and blockages, and easy maintenance and replacement.
Ideal for treating continuous and intermittent exhaust gas emissions; simple in process, convenient and straightforward in management, operation, and maintenance, without affecting the workshop's production; wide application range, capable of purifying multiple inorganic exhaust gases, water-soluble gases, and dust-containing gases simultaneously; low pressure drop, high operational flexibility, and excellent demisting performance.
Section 2: Working Principle of the PP Spray Tower
Waste gas is introduced into the purification tower through the duct, where the absorbent liquid is boosted by a pump at the bottom and sprayed down from the top. After passing through the packing layer, the waste gas and absorbent liquid have a thorough gas-liquid contact, leading to an acid-base neutralization reaction. The mixture is then recirculated back to the bottom of the tower for reuse. After purification, the gas is further dehumidified and defogged by a demister plate before being discharged into the atmosphere by a fan.

【Operation Instructions】
1. Pre-test Preparation Work:
Prior to initiating this system, a comprehensive check is required, verifying and confirming the accuracy of each installation diagram, and clearing all visible debris within the system.
(2) Prior to initiating this system, all pipelines, equipment, and other facilities within the system must undergo the corresponding inspections to ensure their performance is good and meets the testing requirements.
(3) Prior to initiating this system, it is essential to confirm that the power, water supply, and drainage systems compatible with this system are functioning normally and fully meet the requirements for the system's test operation.
2. Daily startup procedures:
Power on, start the circulating pump and fan sequentially. Check for any abnormal conditions with the working indicator lights.
After completing the operation, sequentially shut down the fans and the circulating water pump.
3. Routine Maintenance Matters:
(1) Conduct a weekly routine check of the storage tank's liquid level to maintain the liquid surface height.
(2) If the automatic make-up water or non-makeup water device of the exhaust gas tower level control fails, disconnect the power and restart it. If it still cannot resume normal operation after the restart, check for loose connections at all circuit points and ensure that the circulating pump or dosing unit is operating normally.
(3) Regularly inspect the operation of the exhaust fan.
(4) Daily operation and maintenance of the waste gas purification tower are recommended to be handled by a designated person.
(5) Repairs to purification tower equipment are not permitted while in operation.
