PP Spray Tower Manual
Section 1: Composition, Characteristics, and Application Range of PP Spraying Towers
PP Spray Tower consists of shell, circulating water tank, inlet section, spray layer, packing layer, demisting layer, outlet cone cap, inspection holes, etc. Made of PP material, it offers UV resistance and aging resistance. For the treatment of inorganic waste gas, the liquid absorption and neutralization method is commonly used. This process and product feature simple structure, low energy consumption, high purification efficiency, and wide applicability. The packing uses high-efficiency, low-resistance Raschig rings, Pall rings, etc., and the spray layer is assembled with sufficient atomizing nozzles. The nozzles are designed for easy disassembly, facilitating cleaning of scale and blockages, and easy maintenance and replacement.
Ideal for treating continuous and intermittent emissions of waste gas; simple in process, easy in management, operation, and maintenance without affecting the workshop production; wide applicability for purifying various inorganic waste gases, water-soluble waste gases, and dust-containing gases simultaneously; low pressure drop, high operating flexibility, and excellent dehumidifying performance.
Section 2: Working Principle of the PP Spray Tower
Waste gases are introduced into the purification tower through ducts. The absorbent liquid is pressurized by a pump at the bottom of the tower and sprayed from the top, where it cascades down through the packing layer. Here, the waste gases and absorbent liquid have ample gas-liquid contact, leading to acid-base neutralization reactions. The mixture is then returned to the bottom of the tower for recirculation. After purification, the gas is further dehumidified and demisted by a mist eliminator plate before being exhausted into the atmosphere by a fan.

Operation Instructions
1. Pre-test Preparation Work:
Prior to activating this system, a comprehensive check is required, verifying and confirming each item against the installation diagram, ensuring everything is in place, and clearing all visible debris within the system.
(2) Prior to initiating this system, all pipelines, equipment, and other facilities within the system must undergo corresponding inspections to ensure their performance is good and meets testing requirements.
(3) Prior to initiating this system, it must be confirmed that the power, water supply, and drainage systems compatible with this system are operating normally and fully meet the requirements for the system's test operation.
2. Routine Startup Procedures:
Power on and sequentially start the circulating pump and fan. Check for any abnormal conditions with the working indicator lights.
After completing the task, shut down the fans and circulating water pump sequentially.
3. Routine Maintenance Matters:
(1) Conduct a weekly routine check of the storage tank's liquid level to maintain proper fluid height.
(2) If the automatic make-up water or non-makeup water device of the exhaust gas tower level control fails, disconnect the power and restart it. If it still cannot return to normal operation after the restart, check if there are loose connections at the circuit points and whether the circulating water pump or dosing unit is operating normally.
(3) Regularly inspect the operation of the exhaust fan.
(4) Daily operation and maintenance of the exhaust gas purification tower are recommended to be handled by a dedicated person.
(5) Repair of purification tower equipment is not permitted while in operation.
