YZ Submersible Slurry Pump Structural Description
The YZ type pump is a single-stage, single-suction, cantilevered structure, connected by bearing seats, support seats, and connecting pipes to the hydraulic components of the pump. The liquid is discharged through the outlet pipe components. The pump impeller is a semi-open impeller, with agitator blades at the extension of the impeller blade inlet. The main feature of this pump is that the pump shaft in the submerged section has sufficient rigidity, and there are no bearings or shaft seals between the impeller and the pump casing, allowing it to transport media containing high concentrations of solid particles. The length of the pump inserted into the liquid ranges from 800 to 2000mm, and an intake pipe can be provided upon request. The shaft seal is designed for larger pumps to run submerged without a seal. The drive is by a vertical motor mounted on the motor support and the support seat, connected to the pump via a coupling.
YZ Submerged Slurry Pump Assembly Sequence
(1) The bearings are separately mounted on the bearing box and bearing bracket.
(2) Install felt rings on the bearing end caps A, B, and the bearing box.
(3) Install bearing end covers B and C onto the bearing housing and securely fasten with bolts.
(4) Thread the bearing box containing the mounted bearings onto the shaft, tighten the hex nut, and securely fasten the bearing end cover A to the bearing box.
(5) Insert the shaft into the bearing housing, secure it with bolts, tighten the adjustment screws, and mount the bearing on the support housing. Fit the water shield at the appropriate position on the lower bearing.
(6) Secure the coupling pipe to the bearing housing, install the pump cover below the coupling pipe, fit and tighten the impeller at the bottom of the shaft, then sequentially install the pump body front cover and bolt it in place. Adjust the gap between the impeller and the front cover using the adjustment screw at the bearing box (keeping it within 1-1.5mm), and tighten with nuts and bolts after adjusting.
(7) The motor bearing is mounted on the bearing housing and secured with bolts. The coupling component is installed at the top of the shaft, and the motor coupling is fastened to the motor shaft end with set screws. The motor is then mounted on the motor support and secured with bolts and nuts.
(8) Assemble the asbestos gaskets, liquid outlet elbows, and liquid outlet fittings in the order of the pump's output, and securely fasten them to the support bracket.
