Working Principle
The dried material is added directly above the center of the shell, where it is stirred by continuously rotating rakes. The material moves axially back and forth, constantly renewing the surface in contact with the inner wall of the shell. Indirectly heated by steam, the uniform stirring of the rakes, the grinding action of the crushing rods, vaporizes the moisture within the material. Under the vacuum system, both internal and surface moisture of the dried material are effectively removed. The vaporized moisture is then exhausted through a dry dust collector, a wet dust collector, and a condenser, before being released from the outlet of the vacuum pump.
