Recirculating Closed Circuit Cleaning
Circulating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, which is connected to a cleaning pump station to create a circulating system. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added and circulated within the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, acid is continuously replenished as the acid washing process reaches a certain level. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a circulating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown and is complex, with a higher cost.
Open road cleaning
During cleaning, two gray pipes cannot form a loop; only a single gray pipe can be used for open-path cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the fluid tank, and injecting it into the gray pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, which is costly.
Continuous Operation Cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally without interruption, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash-pipe running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler for open-circuit cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aid is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing its solubility in water, reducing the formation of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash-pipe cleaning.
Operation method: Prior to cleaning, first estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scaling in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and ash transfer pipe operation rate for the addition of cleaning inhibitors and pipeline stripping agents based on the grey water flow and acidity. During cleaning, collect a sample at the sampling point at the front of the ash pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stages of cleaning, collect a sample at the end of the ash pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be considered complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety.
High-pressure water technology boasts the following advantages.
(1) High-quality Cleaning - During the high-pressure water jet cleaning of pipes and the internal cavities of heat exchangers, all scale and blockages inside the pipes can be thoroughly removed, revealing the metal substrate. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and ultra-sonic speed, is capable of completely destroying tough scale and blockages without causing any damage to the metal.
Since the pressure of high-pressure water is less than the pressure rating of the metal, high-pressure cleaning will not damage the surface being cleaned.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined action of jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning speed several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.
Additionally, parts cleaned with high-pressure water jetting do not require a secondary cleaning process; however, after chemical cleaning, the surface chemical agents must be rinsed off with clean water.
(3) No Environmental Pollution: As high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not generate large amounts of dust like sandblasting, shot blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. 3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, it can be divided into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types of scales.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and pipe walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts, such as calcium and magnesium, present in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can also easily damage metal materials due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
