The pressure/temperature reducing device is the core pressure/temperature regulating equipment for steam energy transmission and supply systems. It integrates pressure reduction, temperature reduction, pressure stabilization, and temperature regulation, converting high-pressure, high-temperature steam into low-pressure, low-temperature steam that meets process, heating, and heat exchange requirements. It is widely used in thermal power, chemical, papermaking, textile, and industrial park centralized heating scenarios.
I. Core Features
Pressure Regulation: Throttle high-pressure steam / multi-stage depressurize to the set outlet pressure
Temperature Regulation:降温通过雾化喷水,精确控制出口蒸汽温度
Steady Pressure and Temperature: Automatically closes the loop for regulation, overcoming fluctuation in the inlet pressure, ensuring stable outlet parameters.
Safety Protection: Overpressure/over-temperature interlock action, equipped with safety valves and shut-off valves to ensure system safety.
Steam parameter allocation: catering to the differentiated needs of various process branches
Section II: Working Principle
Utilizing pressure and temperature reduction coupled control:
Pressure-reducing section: High-pressure steam is reduced to the target pressure via a pressure-reducing valve assembly / multi-stage throttle cage.
Cooling section: The cooling water is sprayed into the steam flow through an efficient atomizing nozzle, instantly vaporizing to absorb heat and cool down.
Mixed Section: Carbonated drinks are thoroughly mixed to ensure the outlet steam is slightly superheated/saturated steam, free of water hammer.
Self-regulating system: pressure/temperature sensor feedback signals, PID control of valve opening to achieve automatic control
Section 3: Core Component Parts
Pressure Relief Components: Pressure Relief Valves, Multi-Stage Throttle Cores, Actuators (Electrical / Pneumatic)
Cooling Component: Atomizing Nozzle, Water Flow Control Valve, Check Valve
Detection Instruments: Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Sensors, Flow Nozzles
Control Unit: PLC / Local Control Cabinet, PID Control Module
Safety Attachments: Safety Valve, Drain Valve, Steam Trap, Pressure Gauge

5. Maintenance and Care Points
Routine inspections
Monitor import/export pressure, temperature, and flow of demineralized water
Inspect valve actuator operation, for leaks, unusual sounds, and vibrations
Verify that the nozzle is free from blockages, drainage is unobstructed, and there are no water hammer risks.
Regular maintenance and service
Clean and de-foaming atomizing nozzles, remove scale/impurities
Inspect the seat and core of the pressure-reducing valve for erosion and wear, and grind or replace if necessary.
Validate instrument, actuator stroke, and PID control parameters
Replace gaskets; inspect and detect leaks in pipeline flanges and valve stems.
Shutdown Maintenance
Drain steam and reducing water, winter frost prevention
Nozzles and valve cavity blowing and cleaning, ensure anti-corrosion protection
Actuator power off, transmission part lubrication and maintenance
