The Sampling Chiller is a specialized cooling device for systems such as boilers, thermal networks, water treatment, and power stations, used for cooling and sampling high-temperature steam, boiler water, feed water, and condensate. It is designed for manual sampling or online water quality monitoring to ensure accurate testing and safe operation.
I. Core Features
Rapid Cooling: Cools high-temperature mediums (up to +300℃) to a safe sampling temperature of 30~40℃, suitable for water quality testing requirements.
Safety Protection: Prevent burns from high-temperature mediums and splashes, ensuring the safety of sampling personnel.
Stable flow field: Constant flow regulation ensures accurate data from online water quality monitoring instruments.
Flash Vapor Prevention: Prevents flash vaporization during steam / high-temperature water sampling to ensure the authenticity of the water sample.
Section II: Working Principle
Typical shell-and-tube counterflow heat exchanger structure:
Shell side flows cooling water (recirculating water / tap water).
Pipe route for high-temperature pot water / steam / condensate.
Reverse flow heat exchange of cold and hot mediums; the high-temperature medium is rapidly cooled and flows out from the sampling port, while the cooling water absorbs heat and is discharged.
Section 3: Core Structural Components
Housing: Powder-coated carbon steel / 304/316L stainless steel
Cooling Coils: Stainless Steel 304/316L (Corrosion-resistant, excellent heat exchange)
Inlet and outlet water/gas connections, sampling port, drain outlet, bracket
Optional: Flow Control Valve, Thermometer, Pressure Gauge

V. Maintenance and Care Points
Regularly inspect for leaks and blockages in the coils to ensure smooth heat exchange.
Regularly clean scale from cooling water piping and external fouling from coils.
Check the sampling valve's sealing integrity to prevent leaks.
Prolonged shutdown: drain and cool water to prevent freezing and cracking in winter.
Maintain the cleanliness of the sampling port to prevent water sample contamination.
