Chemical cleaning descaling process:
Recirculating Closed Circuit Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash pipeline lines to form a loop, creating a circulation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, and it circulates within the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, as the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown and is complex and costly.
Breakbulk Cleaning
No two gray pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe can be used for open circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit and continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the dosing tank, then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the gray pipe. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment while the system is shut down, resulting in higher costs.
Continuous cleaning without shutdown
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while operating the ash conveying pipes, simultaneously introducing a specific quantity of ash conveying pipe cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent for open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the occurrence of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate for the ash slurry pipeline based on the flow rate of the grey water and the acidity. During cleaning, collect samples at the front end of the ash pipeline every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, collect samples at the end of the ash pipeline every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning process can be considered complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety advantages.

3. Pipe Scale
(1) Categorized by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; sulfate scale and silicate scale are primarily composed of calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively. Mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the damage to the heating surface.
