Chemical cleaning and scaling removal process:

Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning

Recirculating cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a circulating system with the cleaning pump station. It introduces a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid cleaning reaches a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished with more acid. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a circulating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.

Preliminary Cleaning

No two gray pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe should be used for open circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the blending tank, and injecting it into the gray pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous Operation Cleaning

The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally and not shut down, simultaneously introducing a specific quantity of ash pipe operation cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent, and performing an open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the formation of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.

The procedure is as follows: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate for the washing inhibitor and pipeline descaler addition based on the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, test the pH value at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water cleaning machinery
High-pressure water jet cleaning is efficient, cost-effective, non-damaging to workpieces, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and safe.
Advantages of high-pressure water technology include:

(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality - The high-pressure water jet cleaning method effectively removes all scaling and obstructions from the inner surfaces of pipes and heat exchangers, revealing the metal substrate. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and ultra-sonic velocity, can completely dismantle hard scaling and obstructions without causing any damage to the metal.

(2) Rapid Cleaning Speed - Due to the combined crushing effects of water jet washing, chiseling, shearing, and abrasion, scale can be quickly broken and removed, which is several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual cleaning techniques.

It also does not generate a significant amount of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. The water jet cleaning with pure water is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. 3. Pipe Scale

(1) Classified by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detachable.
Scale is primarily formed by the salts of calcium and magnesium present in the boiler feedwater, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. The thermal conductivity of scale is very low, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. Scale formation on the boiler heating surface significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn out due to local overheating, even leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline scale corrosion and speeding up the damage to the heating surface.
