Chemical Cleaning Scale Removal Process
Recirculating closed-loop cleaning
Recirculation cleaning utilizes two original parallel deslagging pipelines to form a loop with the cleaning pump station, introducing a certain concentration of acidic solution that circulates and washes within the sludge water pipeline. As the acid cleaning decreases to a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single sludge water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be installed to create a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown, is complex, and has higher costs.
Open path cleaning
No two ash pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only single-pipe open circuit cleaning is allowed. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the mixing tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the ash pipe. This process requires adding cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.
Continuous operation cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally without interruption, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash-pipe running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The primary role of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing its solubility in water, reducing airlock formation, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
Operation method: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline, then calculate the acid addition rate and sludge pipe flow rate for the addition of cleaning and corrosion inhibitor. During cleaning, take samples at the front of the sludge pipe at 30-minute intervals to test the acid concentration, and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stages of cleaning, take samples at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning process can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment

3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, it includes carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is often a mixture of the three types.
