Chemical cleaning scale removal process:
Recirculating Closed Circuit Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing reaches a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished with more acid. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down and is complex, with higher costs.

Open path cleaning
No two gray pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe can be used for open circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the mixing tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the gray pipe. This process requires adding cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous cleaning without shutdown
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while simultaneously adding a specific quantity of running ash pipe cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent, performing open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aid is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the occurrence of airlock, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is: Prior to cleaning, first estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate for the washing inhibitor and pipeline cleaner stripping agent addition based on the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take samples at the sampling point at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take samples at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning process can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water cleaning machinery:
High-pressure water jetting for cleaning boasts advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, non-polluting the environment, easy operation, and safety.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined effects of water jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.

3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube walls, and sludge that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts of calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the damage to the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
