I. Overview
The Small Hole Exhaust Muffler Series is a product developed and manufactured by Lianyungang Zhen港 Electric Power Auxiliary Equipment Co., Ltd. It is designed to reduce exhaust noise from industrial and other industry equipment, and is widely used for noise reduction and silencing in the exhaust systems of equipment in the power, oil, chemical, metallurgy, food, municipal, textile, cement, and environmental protection industries.
The new type of small-hole exhaust muffler features high noise reduction, compact size, lightweight, long service life, easy maintenance, high strength, corrosion resistance, and convenient installation.
Section 2: Application Scope
For noise reduction and silencing of gas emissions, such as: pipelines, nitrogen, vacuum pumps, oxygen, natural gas, flue gas, boilers, etc., for the purpose of silencing and noise reduction of other gas (vapor) emissions.
For steam exhaust noise reduction, suitable for equipment such as boilers, pipelines, safety valves, superheaters, reheaters, deaerators, steam turbines, steam drums, safety gates, pressure vessels, etc., where noise reduction for gas emissions is required.
III. Principle
The small hole exhaust muffler is primarily based on the "small hole injection" theory and combines the noise reduction principle of impedance expansion and absorption. It is designed by Luli Machinery Co., Ltd. of Lianyungang, integrating reasonable noise reduction principles. Structurally, it ensures that exhaust (exhaust gas) must flow smoothly, employing multi-level perforated absorption and combining it with resistive noise reduction principles. This allows the sound waves of gases (vapor) to enter the countless small holes of the porous absorption material, exciting the vibration of the porous material molecules, converting sound energy into heat to overcome frictional resistance and viscosity, thereby achieving the ideal noise reduction effect and ensuring the smooth exhaust of gases (vapor).
Gas (vapor) passes through a throttling section within the muffler and then enters a pressure-reducing chamber. After being expanded in a large volume, it is released as low-pressure steam. During this process, part of the kinetic energy of the airflow is converted into sound energy of a certain frequency, significantly reducing the noise. Within a single, mixed-flow muffler, 2-4 energy-absorbing and noise-suppressing liners are arranged. These liners can move vertically and horizontally to absorb the thermal expansion of the exhaust pipe. However, due to reasons such as the exhaust deviating from the design value, the noise may still exceed the standard. To address this, a double-layered sound-insulating shield is designed around the pressure-reducing chamber, tailored to the frequency spectrum of the remaining noise emitted by the chamber, to effectively absorb the residual noise.
After installation as required, the noise reduction can reach 20-70 decibels, meeting the requirements of the <<Industrial Enterprise Noise Standard>>.
