The ZFD single-chamber model has a noise reduction of 15-20dB(A), while the ZFS double-chamber model offers 20-25dB(A). All cross-sectional dimensions are in accordance with national standards for air ducts. Micro-perforated plates are made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy.

The structure of the exhaust silencer consists of many parallel unit silencing tubes filled with porous sound-absorbing material. To reduce radiated sound caused by airflow-induced shell wall vibration, reinforcing ribs are set on the outer shell.
