Roths Blower Muffler Description

The gas dust concentration through the Roots blower muffler should not exceed 150 mg/m³. If it does, an air filtration or dust removal device should be installed before the muffler. When used outdoors, the muffler should be equipped with a rainproof cover.

The Rothaz fan muffler does not permit the flow of water mist, oil mist, or corrosive gases through the channels. The gas pressure should not exceed 500mmH2O, and the gas temperature should not be higher than 200OC. For special requirements, a custom design can be provided upon the user's submission of specific parameters.

When installing and using various specifications of Roots blower mufflers, it is advisable to set up necessary sound-absorbing and sound-insulating measures on the building of the machine room, depending on the specific situation, to achieve a better noise reduction effect.

Roots blower silencers are mainly used to reduce the intake and exhaust noise of Roots and axial flow fans, and can also be applied for noise reduction of exhaust ducts and other high-pressure fans. They achieve a noise reduction of 15-30 dB(A) with less than 500 Pa pressure loss.

Roots blower silencers are mainly used to reduce the noise of axial flow fans. They are typically circular in structure and come in single-chamber and double-chamber designs. The ZFD single-chamber model has a noise reduction of 15-20dB(A), while the ZFS double-chamber model offers 20-25dB(A). The cross-sectional dimensions are all made according to the national standard for ductwork manufacturing. The micro-perforated plates are made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy.

The reactive section employs multi-chamber reactive straight pipe channels and cruciform sound-absorbing panels, ensuring sufficient sound absorption over a wide frequency range. The FT type silencer structure is composed of many parallel unit silencer tubes, filled with porous sound-absorbing material between the tubes. To reduce radiation noise caused by the air flow exciting shell wall vibration, reinforcing ribs are set on the outer shell.
