Overview of External Tube Reactor

The heating methods for the external reactor of the pipe mill include electric heating, oil heating, gas heating, water heating (or cooling), and open flame heating.

The types of agitation generally include propeller, anchor, box, ribbon, and scraper types.

Jacketed forms include: jacketed type and external half-tube type. All jacketed oil heating types are equipped with a flow guide device.

Axial seals are available in three types: ordinary water-cooled packing, composite Teflon packing, and mechanical seals.

Material discharge options include ball valves and gate valves.

The external jacketed reactor relies on thorough mixing of the reacting substances. For processes such as heating, cooling, liquid extraction, and gas absorption, a stirrer is essential to achieve optimal results.
