Galvanized elbows are a type of elbow with a zinc coating applied to its surface to enhance its corrosion resistance. There are two types of galvanized elbows: hot-dip galvanized and electro-galvanized. Hot-dip galvanized coatings are thicker, while electro-galvanized ones are more cost-effective but have a less smooth surface. Galvanized elbows are categorized into cold-dipped and hot-dipped varieties, with the former being banned and the latter still recommended by the state for temporary use.
In manufacturing, zinc-coated pipes used for direct sales are employed, such production is commonly used for annealing. Another method is zinc-coating after the production is completed.
