Galvanized elbow pipes are a type of elbow pipe where a layer of zinc material is plated on the surface to enhance the pipe's corrosion resistance. There are two types of galvanized elbow pipes: hot-dipped and electroplated, with hot-dipped having a thicker zinc layer and electroplated being more cost-effective but less smooth on the surface. Galvanized elbow pipes are categorized into cold-dipped and hot-dipped, with the former being banned and the latter still temporarily recommended by the state.
In production, zinc-plated pipes used for direct sales are utilized, which are commonly used for bending. Another method is to apply zinc plating after the manufacturing process.
