Can a trading company, in addition to manufacturers, obtain ISO9001 certification? Of course, they can.

Materials required for ISO9001 Quality Management System certification preparation include:

1. A copy of the company's business license and organization code certificate.

2. Certificate of verification for the company's measuring and testing equipment

3. Special Position Qualification Certificate

4. Level 1, 2, and 3 documents, including the Quality Manual and procedure files.

5. Information on corporate supply and sales aspects.

6. Information on corporate human resources.

7. Company profile and current number of employees;

8. Management reviews, internal audits, satisfaction data, etc.

The specific process is as follows:

Step: The applicant shall submit a formal application signed by their authorized representative. The application or its attachments should include: the nature, name, address, legal status, and relevant human and technical resources of the organization.

Application for ISO9001 certification, covering the scope of products or services; a copy of the legal person's business license, and upon request, provide copies of qualification certificates and production license; general information regarding the quality system and activities. The applicant agrees to comply with certification requirements and provide the necessary information for evaluation.

Step 1, within 30 days of receiving the applicant's materials, make a decision on acceptance, non-acceptance, or conditional acceptance after contract review, and notify the principal (party to be audited).

To ensure:

A. The requirements for certification are clearly stipulated, documented, and understood.

B. Differences in understanding between the certification body and the applicant have been resolved.

C. The certification body is capable of conducting the certification for the scope requested by the applicant, the operation locations, and certain special requirements, such as the language used by the applicant.

Step three, both parties sign the "Quality System Certification Agreement." Before the on-site audit, the applicant's documented quality system established according to the ISO9001 standard should have been in operation for 3 months, with at least 2 months' notice prior to submitting the quality manual and the required related documents to the consultant certification center.
