Ball joint support (steel structure support), also known as grid support, is divided into vibration reduction spherical steel support and seismic spherical steel support, also referred to as universal joint spherical ball joint supports.
One. Universal ball joint bracket
1. Can withstand vertical loads.
2. Possesses vertical tensile resistance, ensuring the upper and lower structures do not disengage during vertical seismic activity.
3. Features resistance to horizontal forces, ensuring the structure does not detach during horizontal earthquakes.
4. Adaptable to radial and hoop displacement requirements.
5. Suitable for corners in any direction.
6. The shock-absorbing bracket exhibits excellent vibration-damping properties.
7. The bracket transfers force through a spherical surface, eliminating force constriction, resulting in relatively uniform reactive forces on the upper and lower structures.
8. The bracket does not use rubber for pressure-bearing, eliminating the impact of rubber aging on the bracket, resulting in a longer service life.
II. Technical Parameters of Bracket
1. The vertical bearing capacity of the support is divided into fourteen grades ranging from 300KN to 10,000KN.
2. The bearing capacity against horizontal force of the support is 20% of the vertical bearing capacity.
3. Vertical Tension Resistance of Bracket: GKQZ and GJQZ brackets can resist 20% of the vertical bearing capacity; GKGZ and GJGZ brackets can resist 30% of the vertical bearing capacity.
4. The design corner is 0.08 rad (can be designed separately according to customer requirements)
5. The radial displacement of the bracket is ±20mm to ±50mm, and the circumferential displacement is ±60mm to ±100mm; these technical requirements can be designed and produced according to customer requirements.
Section 3: Points to Note When Selecting Steel Structural Support
1. When selecting a support, pay attention to the bearing capacity, the magnitude of vertical tensile force, the magnitude of horizontal force, and note the displacement and angular deflection. For shock-absorbing supports, also pay attention to the horizontal elastic stiffness.
2. When selecting a bracket, pay attention to the type of bracket, i.e., bidirectional, unidirectional, or fixed.
3. The constraint directions of the shock-absorbing supports are provided with displacement and stiffness to meet the needs of engineering vibration reduction.
