TST Seamless Expansion Joint

TST Bridge Expansion Joints, also known as Seamless Expansion Joint Adhesive Material, are asphalt-filled bridge expansion joints developed in the UK in the 1970s. The basic process involves replacing the surface layer of the bridge deck within a narrow strip with a high-elastic special asphalt mixture. This high-elastic special asphalt mixture with stone material can absorb the displacement of the bridge deck caused by temperature and traffic loads, ensuring that the surface does not crack or damage. The Seamless Expansion Adhesive Material meets both high and low temperatures, as well as permeability and viscosity, balancing these opposing performance requirements. It is suitable not only for regions with uniform temperatures but also for areas with significant temperature differences.

Long service life: The seamless expansion joints adhesive material, installed strictly according to the process requirements, has a lifespan about twice that of general modified asphalt pavements.
