Recirculating Closed Circuit Cleaning
Recirculation cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash removal pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulating system with the cleaning pump station. It introduces a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates within the ash water pipes for cleaning. Additionally, as the acid washing reaches a certain level, acid is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a circulating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.

Open Road Cleaning
During cleaning, no two gray pipes should form a loop; only single gray pipe open-loop cleaning is allowed. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning device, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the blending tank, and then injecting it into the gray pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.
Continuous cleaning without shutdown
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally and not shut down, simultaneously adding ash-pipe operating cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the formation of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash-pipe cleaning.
Operation method: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate for the addition of the anti-corrosive agent and the pipeline cleaning agent according to the sludge flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, collect and test the acidity at the sampling point at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stages of cleaning, collect and test the pH value at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning process can be considered complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety.
Advantages of high-pressure water technology include:
(1) Excellent cleaning quality: High-pressure water jet cleaning of pipes and heat exchanger bores can remove all scale and obstructions inside, revealing the metal surface. The high-pressure water jet, with immense energy and moving at supersonic speed, can completely destroy hard scale and obstructions without causing any damage to the metal.
High-pressure water cleaning will not damage the base material being cleaned, as the pressure is less than the compressive strength grade of the metal.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined effects of jet washing, wedging, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.
Additionally, parts cleaned with high-pressure water jetting do not require secondary cleaning; however, after chemical cleaning, the surface must be rinsed with clear water.
(3) Non-Environmental Pollution: As high-pressure water jet cleaning uses clean water as the medium, it does not generate a large amount of dust like sandblasting or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. 3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.
(2) Classified by physical properties, there are two types: scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the damage to the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
