Chemical cleaning and scaling removal process:
Recirculating closed-loop cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, allowing for recirculating cleaning within the ash water pipes. As the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown, is complex, and has a higher cost.
Open Channel Cleaning
No two gray pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe can be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the mixing tank, and then injecting it into the gray pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires additional cleaning equipment during shutdown, resulting in higher costs.
Continuous Operation Cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally without interruption, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash-pipe running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing solubility in water and reducing the formation of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash-pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Before cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the sludge pipeline by considering the flux of gray water and acidity. During the cleaning process, collect a sample at the front end of the gray pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, test the pH value at the end of the gray pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, non-polluting the environment, easy operation, and safety.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed - Due to the combined actions of jet washing, splitting, shearing, and abrasive cutting, scale can be quickly broken and removed. This process is several to over a dozen times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual cleaning techniques.

3. Scale in Pipes
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.

(2) Classified by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts of calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water precipitating and adhering to the metal surface upon heating. The thermal conductivity of lime scale is very low, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. Lime scale deposited on the boiler's heating surface significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency, impacting the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to local overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using either mechanical or chemical methods.
