Chemical descaling cleaning process:
Recirculating Closed-loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash removal pipelines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid cleaning decreases to a certain level, the acid solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down and is complex, with higher costs.
Break-in Cleaning
No two grey pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only single grey pipe open-circuit cleaning is allowed. The method involves connecting one end of the grey pipe to the cleaning unit and continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the mixture tank, which is then continuously or intermittently injected into the grey pipe. This process requires adding cleaning equipment during shutdown, resulting in higher costs.
Continuous Operation Cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while operating the ash conveying pipes, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash conveying pipe cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-loop cleaning method. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing its solubility in water, reducing the formation of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The operation procedure is as follows: First, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline before cleaning. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the ash pipe operation by considering the flow rate and acidity of the gray water. During the cleaning process, collect samples at the sampling point at the front of the ash pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, collect samples at the end of the ash pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. The cleaning is considered complete when the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental protection, easy operation, and safety.
The advantages of high-pressure water technology are as follows.
(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality: High-pressure water jet cleaning of pipe and heat exchanger bores effectively removes all scale and blockages inside, revealing the metal surface. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and supersonic speed, can completely destroy hard scale and blockages without causing any damage to the metal.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined crushing effects of water jet scouring, splitting, shearing, and grinding, scaling can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.
Components cleaned with high-pressure water jet do not require secondary cleaning; however, after chemical cleaning, the surface chemical agents must be rinsed off with clean water.

(3) Non-environmental pollution: Since high-pressure water jet cleaning uses clean water as the medium, it does not generate a large amount of dust like sandblasting, shot blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. It also does not produce a large amount of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. 3. Pipeline Water
(1) Categorized by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The primary components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the primary components of sulfate and silicate scales are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively. Mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detachable.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts of calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily lead to the deterioration of metal materials due to localized overheating, potentially causing pipe explosions; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, leading to pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the damage to the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
