Recirculating Closed Circuit Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash line pipes to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing reaches a certain level, more acid solution is continuously added. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to create a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out when the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.

Continuous operation cleaning
This process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while simultaneously introducing a specific quantity of ash conveying tube cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent, performing an open circuit cleaning. The main function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the occurrence of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the sludge pipeline by considering the flow rate of the gray water and the acidity. During cleaning, take samples at the sampling point at the front of the gray pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the flow rate of acid addition. In the later stage of cleaning, take samples at the end of the gray pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning is efficient, cost-effective, non-damaging to workpieces, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and safe.
High-pressure water technology boasts the following advantages.
(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality - The high-pressure water jet cleaning of pipeline and heat exchanger bores can completely remove scale and blockages inside, revealing the metal substrate. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and supersonic speed, is fully capable of destroying hard scale and blockages without causing any damage to the metal.
High-pressure water cleaning will not damage the base material being cleaned, as the pressure is less than the compressive strength grade of the metal.
(2) Rapid Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined effects of jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.
Additionally, components cleaned with high-pressure water jetting do not require secondary cleaning; whereas, after chemical cleaning, the surface needs to be washed with plain water.
(3) No Environmental Pollution: As high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not produce a large amount of dust like sandblasting, shot blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. It also does not generate a large volume of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. Pipe Scale
(1) Categorized by chemical composition, it can be divided into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is mostly a mixture of the above three types of scales.
(2) Categorically divided by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and a loose sediment that is easy to detach.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts, such as calcium and magnesium, present in the boiler feedwater that precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2-5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it severely degrades heat transfer efficiency, affecting the boiler's performance; it also tends to damage metal materials by localized overheating, potentially leading to tube burst accidents; it accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeds up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
