Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulating system with the cleaning pump station. It introduces a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates through the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, as the acid washing reaches a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished with acid. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to create a recirculating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down and is complex and costly.

Open Channel Cleaning
No two grey pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only a single grey pipe should be used for open circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the grey pipe to the cleaning unit and continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the dosing tank, which is then continuously or intermittently injected into the grey pipe. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, resulting in higher costs.

Continuous cleaning without downtime
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while operating the ash conveying pipeline, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash conveying pipeline cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler for open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the occurrence of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipeline cleaning.
Operation method: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate for the sludge discharge pipe based on the grey water flow and acidity. During cleaning, take samples at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take samples at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be considered complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning is efficient, cost-effective, non-damaging to workpieces, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and safe.
High-pressure water technology boasts the following advantages.
(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality - The high-pressure water jet cleaning of pipeline and heat exchanger bores can thoroughly remove all scale and blockages inside, revealing the metal substrate. With immense energy and moving at supersonic speeds, the high-pressure water jet is fully capable of destroying tough scale and blockages, yet it has no detrimental effect on metal.
Due to the pressure of high-pressure water being less than the compressive strength grade of metal, high-pressure cleaning will not damage the base material being cleaned.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed - Due to the combined effects of jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, which is several to tens of times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting and shot peening, simple mechanical, and manual cleaning methods.

Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types of scales.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and a loose sediment that is easy to detach.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it severely deteriorates heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can also easily damage metal materials due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
