Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. It introduces a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing reaches a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished with acid. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown, is complex, and has a high cost.

Pilot cleaning
During cleaning, no two ash pipes can form a loop; only a single ash pipe can be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the solution tank, and injecting it into the ash pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires additional cleaning equipment to be installed during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous Operation Cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally and not shut down, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash-pipe running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The main function of the cleaning aid is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the formation of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash-pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline cleaning agent according to the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, test the pH value at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.
2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning is efficient, cost-effective, non-damaging to workpieces, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and safe.

(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality - The high-pressure water jet cleaning of pipeline and heat exchanger bores can completely remove scale and blockages inside, revealing the metal substrate. With its immense energy and supersonic movement, the high-pressure water jet is fully capable of destroying tough scale and blockages without causing any damage to the metal.
Due to the pressure of high-pressure water being less than the compressive strength grade of metal, high-pressure cleaning will not damage the base material being cleaned.
(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined crushing effects of water jet scouring, splitting, shearing, and grinding, scaling can be quickly broken and removed, which is several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting and shot peening techniques, simple mechanical, and manual cleaning methods.

(3) No Environmental Pollution: Since high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not generate large amounts of dust like sandblasting, shot blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. Nor does it produce large volumes of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. Pipe Scale
(1) Categorized by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is typically a mixture of the above three types.

(2) Classified by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube wall, and sludge that is loosely textured and easily detachable.
Scale primarily forms due to the salts of calcium, magnesium, and other minerals in the boiler feedwater, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. The thermal conductivity of scale is very low, around 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. Scale buildup on the boiler's heating surface significantly worsens heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to tube bursting accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline scale corrosion and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
