Chemical cleaning and scaling removal process:
Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash removal pipelines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. It involves adding a solution of a certain acidity concentration, circulating it through the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, as the acid washing decreases to a certain extent, acid is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is offline, and it is complex and costly.
Breakbulk Cleaning
No two ash pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single ash pipe can be used for open-circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the liquid preparation tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the ash pipe. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous operation cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a specific quantity of acid solution while operating, without stopping the normal ash transportation in the ash pipe. Simultaneously, a certain amount of ash-pipe cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler is injected for operation. An open-loop cleaning is conducted. The main function of the cleaning aids is to facilitate the reaction between the acid solution and scale deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing the solubility in water and reducing the formation of gas blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline cleaning agent based on the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be considered complete.
2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment

3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, among others. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the primary components of sulfate and silicate scales are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively. Mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and tube walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water that precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. The thermal conductivity of lime scale is very low, around 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. Lime scale deposited on the boiler's heat-absorbing surface greatly worsens heat transfer efficiency, affecting the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe burst accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface.
