Chemical descaling process:
Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A solution of a certain concentration is added, and it circulates within the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, acid is continuously replenished as the acid washing reaches a certain level. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.
Open Path Cleaning
No two ash pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only single-pipe open circuit cleaning is allowed. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the mixing tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the ash pipe. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, resulting in higher costs.
Continuous operation cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally without interruption, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash-pipe running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing its solubility in water, reducing the occurrence of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash-pipe cleaning.
The procedure is: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the sludge pipeline cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent based on the grey water flow and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front sampling point of the grey pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the grey pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.
2. High-pressure water jet cleaning machinery
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety.
Advantages of high-pressure water technology include:
(1) High-quality Cleaning: Our high-pressure water jet cleaning effectively removes all scale and obstructions from pipe interiors and heat exchanger bores, revealing the metal surface. The high-pressure jet, with its immense energy and supersonic speed, can completely destroy hard scale and obstructions without damaging the metal.
Since the pressure of high-pressure water is less than the pressure resistance grade of metal, high-pressure cleaning will not damage the base material being cleaned.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined effects of jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting and shot peening, simple mechanical, and manual methods.
Components cleaned with high-pressure water jetting do not require secondary cleaning; however, after chemical cleaning, the surface must be rinsed with clean water.
(3) Non-Environmental Pollution: Since high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not generate a large amount of dust like sandblasting, grit-blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the air and harm health. Nor does it produce a large amount of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. The water jet cleaning with pure water is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. After atomization, the ejected jet can also reduce the dust concentration in the work area, lowering atmospheric dust levels from 80mg/m³ with other methods to below the national safety standards. Therefore, it does not cause any pollution.

Pipe Scale
(1) Categorized by chemical composition, it can be divided into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types of scales.
(2) Classified by physical properties, there are two types: hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and tube walls, and loose sediment that is easy to detach.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times less than that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heat transfer surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency, affecting the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the damage to the heat transfer surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
