Spiral plate heat exchangers are nearly ideal heat exchange devices, featuring fully counter-current flow of media within the exchanger. This design allows for identical flow characteristics between two media, making them suitable for convective heat transfer in gas-gas, gas-liquid, and liquid-liquid systems, as well as for steam condensation and liquid evaporation heat transfer.

Principle of Operation for Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger:

The ends of the spiral channels are sealed with interlocked edge welding, and the face sealing is achieved with a top cover and gasket; the two channels are easy to clean with a cleaning valve, primarily used for gas-liquid and liquid-liquid heat exchange; particularly suitable for dirty and scaling-prone media.
