Principle Overview
Centrifugal filters operate based on the principles of centrifugal sedimentation and density differences. As water flows into the equipment tangentially from the sand separator inlet under a certain pressure, it generates a strong rotational motion. Due to the different densities of sand and water, the water with lower density rises to the overflow outlet under the influence of centrifugal force, centripetal buoyancy, and fluid drag, while the denser sand is discharged from the bottom sand outlet. This achieves the purpose of sand removal. Within a certain range and under certain conditions, the higher the water pressure entering the sand separator, the higher the sand removal rate, and multiple units can be used in parallel.
