PTFE Extracting Tank(Extractor, Extractor System, and Mixing Clarifier)is a stepwise contact extraction equipment consisting of a mixing system, a mixing zone, a clarification zone, and a phase separation zone. In each stage, the two immiscible liquid phases are subjected to mixing and clarification for phase separation, thereby achieving mass transfer and separation of the target solute between different liquid phases.

Work Process
The specific working process of the extraction tank (mixed clarification tank) involves the料液andextractant being pumped into the mixing chamber through their respective feed ports by a feed pump. A high-speed stirrer then mixes the料液andextractant for mass transfer. Subsequently, the mixture passes through overflow baffles into the clarification chamber, where the two phases, light and heavy, are separated under gravity. The separated light and heavy phases then enter different outlets, completing one extraction cycle. In actual production, the extraction tank is typically a multi-stage series arrangement, including extraction, counter-extraction, washing, and regeneration sections, among others, which should be configured according to the specific production process.

Mixed Mass Transfer Process
Raw Material IntroductionThe feedstock liquid and the extractant are respectively fed into the mixing chamber of the extraction tank through their individual feed ports. For example, inWet冶金The raw liquid contains a water solution with metal ions, while an organic extracting agent is introduced as another liquid phase into the mixing chamber.
Agitate and MixThe mixing chamber is equipped with a blender, which rotates at high speed, allowing the raw material liquid and the extracting agent to fully contact and mix. Under the action of blending, the solute is transferred from the raw material liquid to the extracting agent, forming a two-phase solution. The intensity and duration of blending have a significant impact on the mass transfer efficiency; insufficient blending may result in inadequate contact between the two phases, reducing the efficiency of mass transfer; while excessive blending may lead to emulsification, increasing the difficulty of subsequent separation.
Separation process
Overflow enters the clarification chamberThe mixed liquid flows into the clarification chamber through overflow baffles. The clarification chamber is a spacious empty room with a large volume, providing ample space for the liquid to settle and separate layers.
Gravity Natural SeparationIn the clarification chamber, due to the different densities of the raw liquid and the extracting agent, under the action of gravity, the two phases gradually separate. The denser phase (usually the heavy phase) sinks to the bottom, while the less dense phase (usually the light phase) floats on top, forming a clear phase interface.
Partial contact reduces mass transfer efficiency; excessive stirring can lead to emulsification, increasing the difficulty of subsequent separation.

Key Features
● High efficiency level
● Simple Structure: The extraction tank typically consists of a tank body, interface adjusting pipe, motor reducer, agitation shaft, agitation paddle, speed controller, and a movable platform, etc., with a relatively simple structure.
●Stable Operation, High Adaptability: Due to the larger volume of the extraction tank and higher liquid storage capacity, it can accommodate fluctuations in a certain range of materials, and after balancing, it operates more stably with high adaptability.
● Scalable Reliability: The design parameters such as single-stage extraction rate remain relatively reliable after scaling up.
