During the long-term operation of solvent extraction, the extracting agent may partially degrade under the action of acid, alkali, and air, producing polar products with a higher affinity for water. These are amphiphilic substances with significant surface activity, which can significantly impede the separation of the two phases, leading to excessively long separation times and also reducing the extracting agent's selectivity for metal ions.
Treat the extracted organic phase with the -EXO restorative agent, which quickly combines with surfactants in the extraction system to form an emulsion that aggregates at the interface. Then, remove the interface emulsion from the extraction system using filtration and other methods, thereby repairing the organic phase. This significantly shortens the phase separation time and markedly reduces the carryover of organic and aqueous phases.

Usage Instructions
In the first-grade mixed chamber of the aqueous phase import, add -EXO restorative at the beginning at a rate of 2kg/m³. Then, mix thoroughly for 2 to 3 minutes, observe carefully. Stop adding the restorative once the inter-phase materials float up, and remove them. If there is severe degradation of the organic phase, repeat the process several times until the phase separation rate returns to normal. The restoration process should be carried out during the normal operation of extraction, and one system cycle is sufficient.
In the 1m³ interlayer material removed, add 8 to 10 kg of activated white clay, mix thoroughly, then press filter with a pressure filter to recover solvent oil. The majority of the extractant degradation products remain in the filter cake.
