LXC-50 Experimental Centrifugal ExtractorIt's a new, fast, and efficient type of...Liquid-Liquid ExtractionSeparation equipment, which is superior to traditional extraction equipment such asExtraction tank、Extraction TowerHigher separation efficiency, more conducive to realizing continuous production.
Centrifugal extraction machines utilize a motor to drive a drum to rotate at high speed. The two mixed liquids to be separated are mixed and transferred through the shearing force generated by the stirring blades, and then quickly separated under the centrifugal force produced by the high-speed rotation of the drum.
Centrifugal extraction units can be used individually or in multi-stage series for countercurrent extraction, featuring high mass transfer efficiency, short two-phase residence time, and minimal retention. They are easy to operate and can adjust speed, flow ratio, and mixing intensity as required.
To meet customer needs, Pure Separation offers extraction equipment consultation and services: from initial communication, planning, and design of process objectives or operational conditions, to customized production and manufacturing, helping you build the ideal extraction equipment for greater peace of mind. Mixed Process
Light and heavy phase materials are fed into the mixer zone of the equipment via the feed ports at the bottom of the centrifugal extraction unit in the ratio required by the process, driven by the high-speed motor which rapidly mixes and disperses the two phases, thereby completing the mixing and mass transfer process.
Separation process
The mixed fluid enters the drum under the action of the vortex disc or feeder, quickly synchronizing its rotation with the drum within the cavity formed by the web plates. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the denser heavy-phase fluid gradually moves away from the drum center and towards the drum wall as it flows upwards. Conversely, the less dense light-phase liquid moves away from the drum wall towards the center. After clarification, the two phases of liquid flow separately through their respective weir plates into the collection chamber and are discharged through the heavy and light phase outlets, completing the two-phase separation process.
Equipment Features
♦ High mixing efficiency and excellent extraction effect: Can flexibly match mixing structures according to different material system requirements, achieving efficient extraction.
♦ Effective two-phase separation: The equipment separates the aqueous phase and the organic phase using centrifugal force, ensuring fast and stable separation without interference from human factors.
♦ Low online liquid holding capacity: The internal liquid holding capacity of the equipment is small, for example, the liquid holding capacity of a 6m³/h processing capacity equipment can be 35L.
♦ Low equipment amplification effect: The equipment uses centrifugal force for separation and employs precise mixing, making it a typical process intensification device with a low amplification effect.
♦ Energy-saving and environmentally friendly: Lower power consumption, fully enclosed design, and highly efficient, environmentally friendly energy-saving equipment.
♦ Small equipment footprint
