LXC-50 316L Stainless Steel Centrifugal ExtractorA novel, rapid, and efficientLiquid-liquid extractionSeparation equipment, which is superior to traditional extraction equipment such asExtracting tank、Extracting TowerOffering higher separation efficiency, more conducive to achieving continuous production.
Centrifugal extractors utilize a motor to drive the drum to high-speed rotation, where the two mixed liquids to be separated are mixed and transferred through the shearing force generated by the stirrer blades. Subsequently, they are rapidly separated under the centrifugal force produced by the high-speed rotation of the drum.
Centrifugal extraction units can be used individually or in multi-stage series for countercurrent extraction. They offer high mass transfer efficiency, short residence time of both phases, minimal hold-up, and easy operation. They can be adjusted to change the rotational speed, flow ratio, and mixing intensity as needed.
To meet customer needs, Pure Extraction offers extraction equipment consulting and services: from initial process goal or operational condition communication, planning, design, customized production, and manufacturing, helping you build the ideal extraction equipment. Mixed process
Light and heavy phase materials are fed into the mixer zone of the equipment via the feed ports at the bottom of the centrifugal extraction unit in the required proportions according to the process specifications. The motor drives the mixing structure at high speed, quickly blending and dispersing the light and heavy phases, thereby completing the mixing mass transfer process.
Separation process
The mixed liquid enters the drum under the action of the vortex disk or feeder. Within the cavity formed by the drum's web, the mixed liquid quickly synchronizes with the drum's rotation. Under the force of centrifugal force, the heavier phase liquid with higher density gradually moves away from the drum's center and towards the drum wall as it flows upwards. Conversely, the lighter phase liquid with lower density moves away from the drum wall and towards the center. After clarification, the two phases of liquid flow separately through their respective weir plates into the collection chamber and exit through the heavy and light phase outlets, completing the separation process.
Equipment Features
♦ High mixing efficiency and extraction effect: Can flexibly match the mixing structure according to different material system requirements to achieve efficient extraction.
♦ Effective two-phase separation: The equipment uses centrifugal force to separate the aqueous phase and the organic phase, ensuring quick and stable separation while avoiding interference from human factors.
♦ Low online liquid holding capacity: The internal liquid holding capacity of the equipment is small, for example, the liquid holding capacity of a 6 m³/h processing capacity equipment can be 35L.
♦ Small amplification effect of equipment: The equipment uses centrifugal force for separation and employs precise mixing, which is a typical process intensification device with a small amplification effect.
♦ Energy-saving and environmentally friendly: Low power consumption, fully enclosed, and highly efficient and energy-saving equipment.
♦ Small equipment footprint
