The PGJ type disc dryer not only features an externally heated shell but also heats the internal discs, significantly increasing the drying area and enhancing thermal efficiency, ensuring thorough drying of materials. This product is widely used for drying fish meal, bone meal, dyes, pigments, sludge, chemicals, and other powdered products.
Operating Principle
The disc dryer consists of a horizontal housing and a rotor equipped with steam heating. Multiple heating disks are mounted on the shaft, each fitted with adjustable-angle scrapers. In operation, it can both heat the material and push the heated material towards the discharge end. The steam distribution device inside the rotating shaft ensures even distribution to each heating disk. Steam flows between the disks on both sides of the disc, maintaining a constant temperature on the heating disks. Condensate is排出 through the rotating joint at the shaft end.
As the main shaft rotates, the material is thoroughly mixed and blended by the combined action of the scraper and the disc, maximizing the heat exchange area. After heating, the exhaust gas is released through the top of the housing. The pipeline maintains a slight vacuum, preventing steam from escaping and avoiding excessive intake of cold air. This product is widely used for drying fish meal, bone meal, dyes, pigments, sludge, chemicals, and other powdered products.
