Testing Principle:The coefficient of friction tester involves placing one material flat on the test platform and the other on a slider of a certain weight, with both test surfaces lying flat against each other. Under a specific contact pressure, the two surfaces are made to move relative to each other, and the required frictional force is recorded. The coefficient of friction is calculated by dividing the tested force by the weight of the slider.
