Friction Coefficient Gauge(Customized)
Friction coefficient meters are suitable for measuring the static and dynamic friction coefficients of materials such as copper strips, plastic films and sheets, rubber, paper, cardboard, woven bags, fabric textures, metal composite strips for communication cables, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, brake pads, windshield wipers, shoe materials, and tires during sliding. The meters measure the friction coefficients of the materials.(Slipperiness, or smoothness), it can control and adjust the production quality and process indicators of materials, meeting the product's usage requirements.

Testing Principle:A friction coefficient gauge involves placing one material flat on the test platform and the other on a weighted slider. The two test surfaces are then placed side by side and moved relative to each other under a specific contact pressure, while the required frictional force is recorded. The friction coefficient is calculated by dividing the tested force by the weight of the slider.
Test Standards:GB 10006-1998 Determination of Friction Coefficient of Plastic Films and Sheets; ISO 8295-1995 Plastics - Films and Sheets - Determination of the Friction Coefficient; ASTM D 1894 - 01 Test Methods for Static and Dynamic Friction Coefficients of Plastic Films and Sheets; TAPPI T816 Static Friction Coefficient of Corrugated and Solid Fiberboards.
