Testing Principle:A friction coefficient gauge involves placing one material flat on the test platform and the other on a slider of a certain weight. The two test surfaces are placed side by side and moved relative to each other under a specific contact pressure, with the required friction force recorded. The friction coefficient is calculated by dividing the tested force by the weight of the slider.
