Testing Principle:A friction coefficient gauge involves placing one material flat on the test platform and the other on a weighted slider. The two test surfaces are then placed side by side and moved relative to each other under a certain contact pressure, recording the required frictional force. The friction coefficient is calculated by dividing the tested force by the weight of the slider.
