The ZGS Type Composite Transformer, also known as the American style substation transformer, is a new product designed and manufactured specifically for China's urban power distribution network, based on years of field service and operational experience with American style transformers, and by absorbing foreign technology and design concepts. It boasts reliable power supply, rational structure, quick installation, flexibility, ease of operation, compact size, and aesthetic appearance. Mainly used in the 10KV urban and rural power grids, it is also suitable for public places such as industrial and mining enterprises, airports, stations, ports, expressways, and subways.
The ZGS type enclosed transformer integrates the transformer body, high-voltage load switch, and protective fuses into a single oil-filled tank, significantly reducing the equipment's size. The tank is fully sealed, utilizing concealed high-strength bolts and oil-resistant nitrile rubber gaskets to seal the cover, capable of withstanding a long-term pressure of 50kPa. The tank design takes into account waterproofing and condensation prevention requirements. The top cover features a 5% slope to prevent water accumulation. The door is triple-locked, allowing access to the high-voltage compartment only after the low-voltage compartment is opened.
ZFS type modular substation utilizes a separation structure of load switches and transformers, representing an improved American style pre-assembled substation that better suits Chinese user habits. It maintains the features of compact size, low cost, full insulation, full shielding, and safe and reliable operation of American pre-assembled substations. It addresses the impact of free carbon produced by the operation of high-voltage load switches and fuses on transformers, increases the low-voltage clearance space, offers various low-voltage and reactive power compensation solutions, reduces the overall height of the pre-assembled substation, and enhances its adaptability to different environments.
