Introduction to Block Asphalt Melting Equipment
Block asphalt melting equipment is a product designed by our company based on our extensive experience in asphalt heating over the years, specifically tailored for melting and heating block asphalt packaged in wooden boxes or burlap bags. It can melt various sizes of block asphalt with dimensions below 1m³.
The equipment features multiple movable doors as feeding ports, allowing asphalt blocks to be evenly poured into the melting chamber. The movable door panels also serve as loading platforms, powered by a hydraulic mechanism for easy opening and closing, making loading and feeding processes highly convenient.
The equipment utilizes diesel burners as the heat source. The burners' flames heat the heat-conducting oil, which is then simultaneously used to heat the asphalt through both the heat-conducting oil coils and the high-temperature flue. The high-temperature exhaust gases at the flue outlet are blown into the melting chamber to heat the asphalt blocks, ensuring high thermal efficiency and rapid melting and heating. The startup and shutdown of the diesel burners are automatically controlled by two temperature controllers for asphalt and heat-conducting oil. It also features an interlock function between the heat-conducting oil circulation pump and the electric heating tube, meaning that the heat-conducting oil circulation pump will automatically start when the diesel burner is in operation; if the heat-conducting oil circulation pump stops unexpectedly, the diesel burner will automatically cease heating.
Heated asphalt is pumped into storage tanks or further heated using an asphalt pump, which is equipped with an asphalt filter to remove impurities from the asphalt.
