Introduction to Block Asphalt Melting Equipment
Block asphalt melting equipment is a product designed by our company based on years of accumulated experience in asphalt heating, specifically tailored for the melting and heating of block asphalt packaged in wooden boxes or burlap bags. It is capable of melting asphalt blocks of various sizes with a volume less than 1m³.
The equipment is equipped with multiple hinged doors serving as feeding openings, allowing asphalt blocks to be evenly poured into the melting chamber. The hinged doors also serve as a loading platform, powered by a hydraulic mechanism for easy opening and closing, making loading and feeding very convenient.
The equipment uses a diesel burner as the heat source, which heats the heat-conducting oil through the burner flame. The heat-conducting oil and the high-temperature flue both heat the asphalt. The high-temperature exhaust gas at the flue outlet is blown into the melting chamber to heat the asphalt blocks, achieving high thermal efficiency and rapid melting and heating. The start and stop of the diesel burner are automatically controlled by two temperature controllers for asphalt and heat-conducting oil. It also features an interlock function between the heat-conducting oil circulating pump and the electric heating tube, meaning that the heat-conducting oil circulating pump will automatically start when the diesel burner is in operation; if the heat-conducting oil circulating pump stops unexpectedly, the diesel burner will automatically stop heating.
Heated asphalt is pumped into the asphalt storage tank for storage or further heating. The asphalt pump suction is equipped with an asphalt filter, which can remove impurities from the asphalt.
