Fire arrester, also known as flame arrester, is designed to prevent external flames from entering equipment or pipelines containing flammable and explosive gases, or to stop the spread of flames between equipment and pipelines. The fire arrester operates on the principle that flames are extinguished due to heat loss when passing through a narrow gap in a heat conductor. The fire arrester's flame-retarding layer structure includes gravel-type, wire mesh-type, or corrugated-type. It is suitable for flammable gas pipelines such as gasoline, kerosene, light diesel oil, naphtha, benzene, crude oil, and their storage or flare systems, gas purification and processing systems, gas analysis systems, coal mine gas emission systems, and fuel gas pipelines in heating furnaces. It can also be used in pipelines for acetylene, oxygen, nitrogen, and natural gas. This valve can be used in conjunction with a breathing valve or used independently.
